Cape Town Notary Public is a dedicated business unit of Hannes Gouws & Partners Inc., a well-established law firm founded in 1991. The website was designed to bring clarity and confidence to a traditionally formal service — creating a digital presence that feels approachable, professional, and easy to navigate for individuals and businesses seeking notarial support.
This project was delivered in collaboration with Networds, who managed the client relationship, project scope, and expectations throughout the process. Their involvement ensured clear communication and alignment between all parties, allowing me to focus on creative direction and design execution.
The brief was to design a clean, modern website that positions Cape Town Notary Public as a trusted, accessible resource for notarial services in the Western Cape. I focused on creating a user journey that guides visitors through the firm's offerings with clarity — from understanding the services available to booking an appointment in just a few steps.
The visual direction leans into a refined, contemporary palette anchored by deep navy and a confident purple accent. These tones communicate trust and professionalism without feeling cold or overly corporate. Typography was chosen for readability and hierarchy, ensuring legal content remains digestible and well-structured across devices.
Key sections were designed to answer the most common questions upfront: what notarial services are offered, what documents are needed, and how the process works. A clear step-by-step process flow and prominent call-to-action elements — including WhatsApp integration — remove friction and make the experience feel human and responsive.
The result is a website that transforms a traditionally complex legal service into something clear, modern, and client-centred — reflecting the firm's 30+ years of experience through a digital presence built for how people engage today.
